Tiloo attended the annual international Trade Fair in the Independence Stadium in Bakau (6th until 28th of April 2019). The sales were very encouraging, the network was expanded and interested visitors were informed about solar drying and solar baking.
Tiloo gave an introduction to solar drying techniques during the US American Peace Corps volunteers’ training in the village Masembe on the 30th of March.
After advertising Tiloo's trainings and products in the national television station QTV in mid-January 2019, we received a considerable response of interested people. As a result, two women from Nema Kunku, who learned about Tiloo from the TV slot, were trained in solar drying on the 6th and 7th
Tiloo Gambia was holding a Solar Cooking Promotion Day on 24 December at the Kololi Beach. The Team explained and showed to interested people the advantages of the solar devices with a solar oven and a parabolic mirror.
Two women and two men from Sutukoba participated in the Tiloo Solar Training from 24 November to 1st December. Sutukoba is located in the backcountry of the Gambia close to the city Basse Santa Su at the Upper River Region.
