Bringing a new product into the world is an exciting time. After spending hours, days maybe even weeks setting up this new indirect solar dryer that everyone loved, you deserve to beam with pride and maybe feel a little anxious to get the word out.
We are very proud to announce the opening of the Tiloo Shop on the project site in Latriya. The population of Latriya and the surroundings has now the possibility to buy solar produced products like babyfood, dried fruits and roasted peanuts.
In 2015, the UN Member States adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 goals. Goal 7 focuses on ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all (SE4All). To achieve goal 7, a workshop was held last week in the Gambia which Tiloo also attended.
Currently, our employee Lisa Sidibeh is getting trained: A Gambian expert in manufacturing beauty and hygiene products is training her to produce different products. This is something from which the Gambian population will strongly benefit.
