New sign boards on the road
We erected two road sign boards to show the way to the Tiloo project in Latriya: One at Sukuta traffic light junction on the way going towards Jabang, and one at Latriya garage in front of the Mosque.

By using solar cookers, you don’t need charcoal or fire wood. Hence, Tiloo helps protecting the trees in the Gambia. Now we contribute even more to the tree population: We have planted several fruit trees in our project center.
We are happy to inform you that Solar Association Tiloo has been formally registered in the Gambia as international charitable organization. This certificate will easier our work on the ground. Until now, Tiloo was registered as local organization.
The Gambian farming project “MyFarm” came to Latriya school to teach about solar products such as cakes, soaps and more.
Tiloo is the only solar cooking organization in the whole of the Gambia at the moment. But we were not the first!
Our bakery manager, Mrs Lisa Sidibeh, went on a three week training course which was sponsored by the Integrated Resource Innovation Services Ministry of State of Trade and Economic Affairs of the Gambia, by the University of Mahatma Gandhi Gambia and the Association of Small Scale Enterprises in
